After a long and fulfilling career in the entertainment industry, Terry followed a new calling—earning a graduate degree in counseling and later serving as a chaplain. At his core, Terry is a helper, devoted to extending the ministry of the Lord wherever life takes him. Much like Abraham, his response to God's call came later in life and has been marked by a deep willingness to GO wherever God leads, ministering along the way.
Terry’s journey into ministry has been a gradual unfolding, shaped by decades of walking with Christ. Over time, his awareness of the call and the weight of kingdom responsibility grew. At one point, Terry and Kari had settled into what they believed was their forever home, a place they had built on land they owned. But God began stirring something deeper—asking Terry to surrender not just the land and house, but the comfort and security of self-sufficiency. What seemed like loss was actually preparation. God was clearing the way for something greater: a life fully surrendered to His purposes and the fulfillment of the Great Commission.
Today, Terry serves in full-time RV ministry alongside his wife, Kari, traveling the country to reach the more than 11 million people who call the road home. Through relational outreach, in-person gatherings, discipleship, and prayer, Terry brings the presence of Christ to campgrounds, parks, and communities that often fall outside the reach of traditional church settings. Whether offering a listening ear, sharing the Word, or simply being present, Terry lives with one mission in mind: to follow wherever God leads and make His love known along the way.
In 2013, God brought us together in a way that both surprised and challenged us.
We were each emerging from seasons marked by grief and loss after previous marriages. Without knowing each other well, we both prayed the same night—asking God to bring someone with a godly heart into our lives. The very next day, over a simple cup of coffee, God made it clear: we were meant to walk this journey together.
After attending several premarital classes, we obeyed His leading and became husband and wife.
Having experienced marriages without God at the center, we now treasure the difference of a God-centered covenant. For over a decade, we’ve seen firsthand how God’s presence shapes, strengthens, and sustains a marriage. Because of this, we have a heart for helping couples prepare for and grow in their relationships—offering support, wisdom, and grace from a place of shared experience.
Together, we serve in full-time RV ministry, traveling across the country to reach the often-overlooked and ever-moving nomad community. Whether hosting in-person gatherings, engaging in one-on-one discipleship, leading virtual Bible studies, or praying with people wherever we meet them, our mission is simple: go where God leads and bring His love to those along the way.
We also draw from our own experiences with both big and little “t” traumas to help others find healing. While PTSD focuses on pain, we are passionate about guiding people toward post-traumatic growth—helping them not just survive what they’ve been through, but grow stronger, wiser, and more resilient because of it. In everything we do, our desire is to be faithful vessels—pointing others to the hope, healing, and restoration found in God.
Kari has been walking with the Lord for over 20 years, embracing the truth that a vibrant relationship with God requires intentionality and active pursuit. She carries a deep burden for the lost and a passion to see God use every part of her—gifts, talents, education, and life experiences—to grow and strengthen His kingdom.
With both formal training and real-life ministry experience, Kari is uniquely equipped to walk with people through their darkest seasons, helping them invite God's healing light into broken places. Unafraid to face pain head-on, she offers comfort, hope, and authenticity through her open and relatable presence. Understanding that ministry isn’t one-size-fits-all, Kari meets people where they are—offering personalized support, discipleship, and the steady reminder that no one is too far for God to reach.
Kari currently serves in full-time RV ministry, reaching a unique and often transient community of over 11 million people across the country. Through in-person gatherings, virtual Bible studies, and monthly prayer meetings, she creates spaces for connection, spiritual growth, and encouragement—wherever people may be. Whether on the road or online, Kari’s heart remains the same: to love well, serve faithfully, and help others draw closer to the One who never stops pursuing them.
